SHORT GETAWAYS TRIP

BATAM, INDONESIA

This is my first time Batam Trip with my dear husband, Mr Brian, we decided to celebrate our 19th anniversary on this island. We took the Ferry from Harbour Front Singapore at 3:30pm, the journey is about one hour, we reached there before 4pm local time. (Batam time is one hour ahead of Singapore)

We have booked the hotel online next to Batam Centre. The hotel name is Haris Hotel, just walking distance from the ferry terminal. Since the purpose of the trip is for relaxing, we just have a cup of nice coffee at Batam Centre terminal.

We checked in the Hotel and keep our backpack there, freshen up with a powerful shower system, we are ready to explore now, so we get a cab from the Hotel lobby, and negotiate a package of 30,000 idr

for the whole night.

We decide to experience the traditional massage, then go shopping, follow by good dinner. At first we go to the Spa Secret, they have many kinds of aroma therapy massage, but I prefer traditional massage, so they recommend me to the next door, Indo Thai. The massage is really good and I will recommend for anyone who want to try it. After the massage they will serve you with a hot ginger tea which is good for blood circulation.

After massage, we went for shopping at Nogaya Hill. The shop closed at 10.00pm. Then we continue to have seafood dinner ay Wey Wey. The seafood here taste good, too. We spend about 40,000 idr.

Thanks to the taxi driver, we enjoyed the night activities and have a great time there. We went back to hotel and have a good sleep. The next morning we just have the hotel breakfast which is surprisingly good. The food is healthy type and they have free flow of fresh fruit juice.

Before we go home, we plan to go BCS Mall, so after checked out, we carried our backpack go there. We bought quiet a number of food from JC supermarket, including keropok, marinated food and biscuit, too.
